This prominent corner site
close to the centre of Poole demanded an appropriate design solution which was
respectful of the surrounding albeit eclectic architectural styles.
Our design solution was a
striking contemporary composition of traditional materials such as brick and
render which would not be overwhelmed by its bulky neighbours Homeview/Homedene
House and Buckingham Court comprising almost 150 flats.
The 14no 2 bedroom
apartments have large areas of glazing to create light and airy modern homes in
an urban setting yet taking advantage of the site’s relatively open aspects
including balconies where appropriate.
